In The Eye of the Beholder

Finding the beauty of your subject.

Beauty may only be skin deep, but the deeper you go the prettier it gets. The photographer’s eye is trained to catch the shot that reveals what the eyes say about how an individual is feeling at the moment. During a session, capturing the client in that space of time shows so much about the photographer’s skill. Practice, and noticing each little nuance about your subject is the key. Study the work of other photographers in order to learn more. Use your own ideas and artistic sense. Practice with models who do well at following your direction.
